Applied Psychology Practice

In the mid-1990s, Dr. Frey branched out in his practice to include nontraditional and nonclinical services. This was partly due to his dissatisfaction with working in a managed care environment. He became certified by the Highlands Company to provide aptitude testing for individuals in need of assistance with making college decisions and career changes. He also used programs from Highlands to implement corporate consultations and employee development programs. This developed into a thriving practice of consultation to primarily chemical manufacturing facilities all around the country. Much of this practice is now internet-based and keeps him in Augusta instead of traveling around the countryside. He helps companies with hiring decisions, 360s, promotions, and team functioning.
